Nero chopping 16:9 to 4:3

Is there a way to tell nero to leave the source video aspect ratio alone.

The films are 700X320, and Nero is converting them to 420x420 or something like that.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

What exactly are you doing? Are you converting DivX to SVCD? Something else? Your resolution is bizarre and not
valid for VCD, SVCD or DVD, so that's part of the problem. Sounds like a DivX resolution to me. Are you having Nero encode your video too? Tell us what your source video is and what you are trying to do with it.

With nero there aren"t any settings to controll the encodeing perameters so if you use Nero to encode then you are basicly stuck with what it gives you...I would Urge You to not use Nero to encode, Nero is "THE WORST" Mpeg encoder there is, Try useing something like Tmpgenc and you will get MUCH better Quality and you get controll over the aspect ratio and every other perameter for encodeing to Mpeg there is....
