SVCD File stucture - Video + audio channels combinations

hello,
I'm a newbie in the SVCD world. From what I understand of SVCD, the format supports MPEG2 video plus 2 stereo or 4 mono audio channels.
1. can I have one stereo plus 2 mono channels?
2. does exist an authoring software capable of that? I only found tools to mix video plus one single audio, while I'd be interested in creating SVCD with the original audio, plus one post-sync. (deutsch, franzosich)
3. does exits a document that describes "completely" the SVCD file structure? I didn't find any.
Thanks in advance for your valuable help, Karl.

SVCD supports 2 audio Tracks and each track can have 2 channels...So you can have an english sterio Track and and a french or german or whatever you want sterio track and each track can be selectable...The Muxer in "BBMpeg" supports Muxing more than 1 audio track, I think the one in Tmpgenc does also..You can read up on the SVCD/VCD standard at " www.vcdhelp.com "...

I'm not sure about the stereo/mono channels question.
You might have to do something like this:
Audio 1 - English
Audio 2 - left speaker French, right speaker German
I don't think it's possible to have 3 or 4 truly separate audio streams.

Do a web search on VCDeasy and find the official web site. There is some documentation there that goes into gory details on VCD and SVCD file structures. It may almost be too much, but if you really want to know, it's there.

I think BBMPEG can multiplex two audio channels for SVCD.
You might look into the DVD2SVCD program at http:/dvd2svcd.doom9.net. They have some way of doing it that works, but I don't know what they use. For a long time only the old I-Author program could multiplex 2 audio streams for SVCD, but that's not true now.
