Synchronize splitted avi clips with Virtual dub

Hi,
after splitting an AVI clip in 2 parts, the 2nd part is complytly out of synchronization. (1st part is OK) It must be at least 10 seconds or more. I couldn't find a way to fix the 2nd part.
Does anybody know how to do this?
or what I might made wrong by splitting the 2nd part?

Thanks
Sebastian

There shouldn"t be any Audio sync problems if you have Both the Video and Audio set to "Direct Stream Copy"..But if you stiil have sync Problems with these settings then maybe think about doing what you are trying to do without Splitting the File...Meaning if you are trying to Split the avi file so you can encode the file to Mpeg in 2 parts then there are easier ways of encodeing a Movie in Parts without Splitting the AVI..Most encoders have an option to encode certain Parts if a File, Both Tmpgenc and CCE have this feature...
