svcd and win 2000

I have win 2000 and when I'm trying to launch a svcd movie (mpeg2) it gives me this massage:" the found divx directshow decoder (divx_c32.ax) may be incomptible with the current operating system. pleas try to install version 3.11 or 4.0 "

what should I do ? ? ? ( it works in win me )

I don't want to cange my operating system !!!

This Message shouldn"t have anything to do with Playing Mpeg2/SVCD Files, the Message is Basicly saying that you have an incompatible version of the DivX Playback Decoder installed on your System, so Try uninstalling the incompatible version of the divx codec ...To play Mpeg2 files you either need a Mpeg2 codec for Media Player or you need a Software DVD Player like "Power DVD"...
