Is it possible to join MPEG2 (SVCD) file and permanent subtitles? Need info. Pls help.

Yes, it definitely can be done, although I don't know
the exact mechanism. Go to http://www.doom9.net and
look in the downloads section. There are several
subtitle utilities there. I know it is possible to
have SVCD with permanent subtitles. SubMuxer is probably
what you need to use.

I know procedure how to make SVCD with permanent subtitles if my source is DVD or Divx (avi). I dont know how to multiplex MPEG2 file allready SVCD and subtitles. Virtual dub dont have option to open MPEG2 file (only avi).

Did you go to http://www.doom9.net and look at the
guides? If not, go there, read them and you should be
able to do what you want.

Virtual Dub Might not Open Mpeg2 files But it does Open AVISynth Files....Hint,Hint??

Hi,

Way off topic but, VirtualdubMod 1.4.11 opens File.mpeg if You first rename it to File.vob.

Well, what then when got it open but without audiopart ? SSA subtitle can be added and so on.
