SVCD playback problems on DVD player

I am using 4x CDRW's to burn an SVCD film. My problem is that the burnt discs freeze momentarily on dvd players causing the audio to go out of sync.

I am currently trying to write it at 2x to see if that helps. Is there anything else it could be?

The mpg plays perfectly on computer so I assume its something to do with the way I am burning em!

Any help would be appreciated

Maybe the Bitrate is too high or the VBV-Buffer too small.

He is right....more than likely you have a constant bitrate clip as opposed to a variable bitrate clip. The quality looks great but some players can't keep up...hope that's your problem.

Could also be that your player has problems to read CD-RW. Try a CD-R and see if there is a difference.
