Hi everyone!
I just got this card, as a gift, and of course without any required cables. Does anyone here can help me out with wires diagram for Video IN/OUT ports on this card. 8-din port female to 1 composite, 1 stereo jack, and s-video is original cable.
Problem is that I cannot by it, here in my country, an orders through Internet don't work either. Just home made could help me.

Here is another problem with this card.
It is ATI aiw 128 Rage 32MB, but unfortunately with included TV-tuner, but NTSC system, and my country TV broadcasting is under PAL System. Is there any chance to convert that into PAL system then I can watch TV on my computer.

Bad News. PAL and NTSC aren't on same card.

Good News. Rich A & Co studied Pins some months ago in this forum. Use FAQ/Search to dig out.

I think you have a card made for sale in the USA and Canada. These cards are NTSC only. I'm not sure if it is possible to record PAL video if you have a PAL source using this card, but I know that it will not allow you to watch PAL TV.

I believe this card works for both system NTSC & PAL..Please ATI site..also check RIch's website...damn..I forgot the website addr....

PAL - As I understand it the TV TUNER is specific to the country - everything else is generic (ie: ships same to all countries). There is a setting for PAL/NTSC but I imagine this only works for the SVideo or component input. The resulting compressed video will be in that standard.

I've been meaning to try this myself. Please report back to this thread so we can all learn.

I have an ATI Card But it came with a Pal Tuner and I live in Canada(NTSC), but I easily got around this Problem By Not useing the Tuner and Use a VCR to tune in the Chanels and it captures NTSC Without a Problem..So if you Are desperate to Watch and or Capture some Pal Video Just Plug your VCR"s output into the Composite or S-Video input and Tune the chanels with the VCR, works great for me...
