How do your rip the extras on a dvd is there a program to do this?

DVDecrypter in 'file mode' lets you rip whatever combination of files you want.

Most any DVD Ripper can rip what ever files you Specify...

It used to be nice place for people learning SVCD creation, mpeg compression etc
And now is only how to rip DVD etc.

There are better places for this activity. Try forum.doom9.net

Why not start a thread yourself, on this issue, and see if there's support for putting something at the top of the forum discouraging DVD posts?

Last time we had that discussion (about 12 months ago) the general view was to include both SVCD and DVD stuff in this forum (though admittedly trivial stuff like in this particular thread wouldnt be missed).

But maybe it is time to re-focus.

I do sympathize with you, but on the main page for the forum, it says "SVCD VCD DVD and other forms of digital video are discussed here". With that in mind, it seems like it was a reasonable question to ask how to rip extras from DVDs. Besides, while I like the Doom9 forums a lot, the people there are not very nice to newbies, even if they post questions like this to the appropriate forum. At least here he got a polite and helpful answer to his question. Unless the focus of this forum changes to SVCD only, I think this kind of question is OK. Just my two cents.
