I have a Sony model DVP-S560D, it can play vcd & svcd that created on most of CD-RW branches but not on CD-R. Is anyone have the suggestion? What is the good CD-R branch I can use?
Some old Sony players didn't support CD-R or CD-RW. They did seem to work OK with CD-RW discs and two brands of CD-R. The only brand of CD-Rs reported to work were Prime Peripherals and STI, neither of which is made any more. If you need a DVD player that supports CD-R, you will have to buy a new one. By the way, you mean "brand" not "branch".
