I just got a copy of MGI VideoWave 4. I have never used it, but I see that it is an Mpeg1/2 editor and it can be used for capturing video(DV capturing too.)
It looks as though its compatable with most capture cards, including AIW 128.
Anyone know if this software is any good? Any issues or comments?
I have MGI/Roxio VideoWAVE 5.1, and I don"t think it will Edit Mpeg files without Re-Rendering the File, But the AVI capture is Fairly good, but the Mpeg capture is total Crap..Something that is simular but much better is "Cyberlink Power Director 2.5" it captures Very high Quality Mpeg2 files and it does Proper editing without re-encodeing the Mpeg file and you can add Chapter points and Make menu"s and Titles and author to disk, and it captures from DV to Mpeg2..
