Does anybody know how to reset the trial period on this thing? I had some major issues with it when I first tried it out (like Ulead wouldn't even open with it in the directory) and I finally got that straight (2 months later), but now the trial period has expired. I sent about 3-4 emails to these jokers and got 0 replies. I am not about to spend 2 cents on a program that already caused issues and I can't even demo properly. If this is the level of support then I can do without, but I have been waiting for this for over a year. I really want to be able to export to an external encoder from the timeline.
Rant over, just wondering if anyone has any ideas. And no, changing the system date did not help. It is only a *.vio file that goes in the VIO folder and has no true install option. I don't see anything in the registry (atleast not naked eye). I know that I am missing something.
I just want to see how good it works (or if at all), I don't think that is too much to ask.

You can allways reinstall you Operateing system from Scratch then the Ulead Plugin would work, I think you can get the Full version for Just a Donation of something like $5...

It's $25 for the Ulead plugin. I ma y do the reformat anyway, It has been a real long time since I had a fresh install. I was cleaning up the disc the other day and didn't realize that it has been close to a year since i installed. Not that big of a deal but there was alot of crap in there that I really didn't need and I just hate the residual crap that is left lingering after a while. Weekend project.
I am not worried about the money, it is the principle at this point. I told them the situation and problems as soon as it happened and there was no respnse. I guess that I am used to a certain level of support from the smaller guys. I really go out of my way to support them and let people know about them.

Got it (finally, 3 days is a long time for a serial number). Seems to work very well, CCE 2.50 (still my favorite version) seems to really like it and it uses different audio encoders like toolame and can mux your files with BBMPEG.
I like it so far. Nothing like capturing in good old MJPEG for analog or DV from firewire, editing your video and feeding CCE straight from the timeline. about .8 is average for speed which is not too bad at all. That is with the AVIWrap.dll. It also supports AVISynth which may be faster. I'll have to try that later this weekend.

How Fast does it export video and on what speed of System?? I"m just curious cuz I might be interested in Trying it, I don"t use Ulead that much But I do have a Lot of there software even the New Media Studio 7 and Video Studio 7 and actually everything they have put out accept the AC3 Plugin for DVD Workshop 1.3, But if it was Fast at exporting Video I would be more inclined to use it...ThanX

Good thing you didn't ask a few days ago, I would be flaming this guy. I was pretty irrate, it took 4 days to get me a registration code. Anyway, it is quite fast, it almost seems faster than frameserving with VDub. I forgot the exact numbers, but it was quick. I may try running it through Virtual dub for some captures, they are off of the tuner and could use some massaging. It would slow it dwn considerably, but CCE is so damn fast to begin with. Plus it beats the pants off of the Ulead Encoder. The AVIWrapper is very fast and you can also use AVISynth with it.
Very nice and if you like to use Ulead MSP and CCE this is the way to go.

Try the demo out, it should work for you for something like 15 days or something. I had my own issues and they still remain. Not with the frameserver now, but it has been too long since I rebuilt and I have something interfering with my video capturing. I am pretty sure that it is remnants of Showshifter. I knew that was going to be a mistake. When AVI_IO doesn't work I know that something is up!
Anyway, the demo should work and then you can decide if it is worth pursuing.
One other thing, I really doubt that you will find a hacked version. It just seems that the "small" guys like this are not usually the victims of hacked stuff and there is not a big ebough interest for someone to crack a $25 plugin. When I was going through my problems I looked everywhere after no responses to my emails. There isn't one out there to my knowledge. And if you look at the registration number it is a pretty long string. Seems to be a pretty complex scheme for a cheap plugin.
