First, I'm not sure this will work but it's harmless to try.
I have Pinnacle DV500 package, P6.5 & Pinnalce DV4.5 prog. and ecceleration capture card. I'm not sure if the all the softwares work without capture card, if it is, u may go to Pinnacle website and download dv4.5 driver for free. U can resize the movie clip to svcd, vcd, or dvd format (video setup section in P6.5). After rendering and setup the format, you can export movie using cce 2.5 plugin (option when install cce check premeire phugin). You you try this, it is very nice softwares if they are worked without acceleration card. Why don't you try cce 2.67 version, it is very fast.
