I just finised downloading a movie and im sure as what I need to do next in order to view it.

It came in two folder each labled CD1 and CD2. Inside each of these folders were about 56 win rar files. I know I have to somehow put these files together, but im sure on how to do so.

Is there a program that I have to download that puts the files together? Or do I just extract each file into a different folder?

This is my first time dealing with SVCD and im really unsure as what I have to do next in order to view the movie. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Use WinRAR

you'll need the winrar program. when the files are broken up in chunks, it starts with filename.rar then filename.r00 then .r01, etc. Right click on the .rar file and extract to folder.

This should combine all the pieces to form one file.

Before going further, make sure your unrar'd file is okay. It could be a .avi file or a .bin file or ???? so you'll have to post again once you get the winrar piece done.

I extrated all the files and not they are two big .bin files. Do I need a program that reads .bin files now?

Also, im not planing on burning this movie on cd. I only want to watch it on my pc. Does that make a difference as to what I have to do?

You can use something like "CDMage" to Extract the Files from the Bin files, or to make a Cue file so that you can burn them to disk, Either way will work, But it would probably be better if you extracted the file so you can watch them to make sure they are OK...
