Another stupid Noobie question. But please answer

I have just started downloading movies from IRC, a friend showed me how. I downloaded HULK and it is two parts and each part is a .tar file. when I extract there is a .tar file in each of these named CD1 and CD2. Then inside these there are about 50 .rar files one for each part of the movie. Now if I extract these .rar files there is a bin file and cue file. I realize I can extract part 1 and then use Nero to burn the SVCD using the cue file but there are 49 parts to CD1 but when i extract each .rar file the bin a nd cue file seem to be the same. Do I need to just extract one of these rar files and burn it and then I will have the entire CD 1? Also is there a way of viewing the movie easily without having to burn it? I have used CDMage to open the bin file but there are no mpg files in there there is just some folders and in side the folder MPEGAV there is a file AVSEQ01.dat but how do I play a .dat file? THanks for the help

You can just rename the DAT file to Mpg and then you shouldn"t have any Problems, This file is going to be a VCD...

GOt it to work but small problem with Nero

I tried using the cue file to burn the SVCD onto a CD-R using Nero. I get to the point when it is about to start recording and it says the media I have in is incorrect. It wants CD-R/CD-RW and I put in a plain old CD-R. Why does it need RW?

It doesn"t want CD-RW, It wants CD-R/CD-RW, which is CD-R OR CD-RW, I think Either the Disk you tried to use Was allready used or it wasn"t Big enough to burn the Whole file to disk, See how big the Bin file is and if it is Close to 800MB then try enableing OverBurn...Or you can extract the Mpeg file from the Bin file then Just burn the Mpeg file as a VCD instead of Burning it as a Bin/Cue file....
