TMPEG DVD Author:
in the chapter editing section, some parts of the shown pictures/frames of the movie appear squeezed to half-width (the left half of the picture frame is the squeezed pic, the right half is black), others appear normal. in more or less 1/4 of the length of the movies this strange phenomenon appears, in different parts.

that also means that when creating the thumbnail-pictures for selecting the chapter marks of movies, some pictures appear squeezed to half-width and others don't. not only in the preview of the chapter selection screen, also on the burnt DVD. does not look so professional . the movie itsself plays fine.

source material are .VRO-files from RAM -disc, recorded with panasonic E-50.

any solutions??? lusifer?

I don"t have a Clue as I do not use Tmpgenc DVD author and this is Probably a Problem with DVD Author..For simple DVD"s I use DVD Lab as it is really easy to use and you can set up a DVD Project in about 5 minutes and it lets you author SVCD"s and VCD"s and non-standard resolution files to DVD, Maybe give it a try...
