Nero burning question

I have Nero 5.5.10.15 on my system. I cannot find any option for burning DVDs, only for VCD and SVCD. I think that should be possible without the DVD-Video plugin if the files to burn are already DVD compliant.
Anyone knows the answer?

Your version of Nero will burn DVDs. Assuming you are not using the wizard, when you see the GUI that allows you to select CD-ROM, VCD, SVCD, Copy CD, etc. at the top left it says CD. If you select on that, you should be able to change it to DVD. However, Nero may refuse to let you change it if you don't have a DVD burner connected. If so and you want to make miniDVD (DVD burned to CD-R), Rich's web page at http://www.pcphotovideo.com has a small guide on using Nero to burn miniDVD.
