Spruceup eject command after burnAugust 21 2003 at 2:59 AM | CaptainKrunch (no login) |
| Does any know how to keep Spruceup from ejecting DVD-R after burning? I would like to lock drive to keep it as dust free as possible.

I dont know about within SpruceUp itself.
However as a workaround you could save to a titleset and then burn the titleset files with Nero (the point being that Nero DOES have a selectable option to not eject the burned disk) |

Is there a guide for creating title sets using SpruceUp? I seem to remember that Rich said that nero is Finicky about the settings. I use Nero Express for Data DVD burns now. It would be nice to power off system after burn.

All that is needed is in the final SpruceUp screen (#3), change the "Output" option from your DVDWiter to "Titleset" instead.
I'm unsure what options NeroExpress gives you, but in the full version of Nero which I use, the steps are:
1)Select your DVD writer for output
2)In the NewCompilation menu chose "DVDVideo"
3)Set to Mode1, ISO9600, Joliet unchecked
4)Drag all the files from the titleset VIDEO_TS folder (EXCEPT the .lay file!) into the VIDEO_TS folder that Nero has created for you.
5)Burn
Some people recommend using Nero's hybrid UDF/ISO option, but for whatever reason my DVDplayer doesnt accept DVDs done that way. YMMV. | |
