Im using tmpgenc to multiplex.. I have tested bbmpeg(Avi2mpg2) and it make the files bigger then tmpgenc.
Is ther other multiplex program that make the file big as tmpgenc. I have found that tmpgenc sometimes make the mpg file out of sync and some hack in the movie.
The Multiplexor That I usually use is the one in "Mpeg2VCR 3.14" it can also help sync up the audio in your Mpeg files and it is one of the best Mpeg editors there is...
Mpeg2VCR will only do this if your SVCD is Not SVCD Compliant either the Resolution is incorrect for SVCD or the Audio is Incorrect for SVCD, If you are Just trying to add the SVCD Header to the file then Mulitplex it as a Mpeg2 file then load the File into Tmpgenc"s Merge & Cut with the SVCD setting in the Dropdown menu then click "Run" and it will add the SVCD header to the file......
You can only fix it with Mpeg2VCR if the Audio is the same amout out of sync for the Whole Movie, It will not fix Movies that are In sync at the beginning and out of Sync at the End ...What you need to do it First De-Multiplex the Out of sync Mpeg file, then use the Multiplex in Mpeg2VCR to multiplex the file and use the "A/V Sync" Feature in the Multiplex to Sync up the audio, It is pretty Self explanitory....
