Granted using a screen saver is using latest cutting edge technology never heard of before, no surprise ATI never expected people to use it. I performed the incredibly unexpected combination of mouse/key strokes when I RT-clk on desktop, choose the "screen saver" tab, set the time to any number < 99hrs. I'm probably the first person to attempt this.
Once the screen saver turn on then any TV programs scheduled are ignored. When exiting screen saver the ATI program kindly tells you that the TV App could not open.
ATI did the best they could in versus the bizzar steps I performed. The error message in the end was an example of the "little extra" the ATI folks will go to please thier customers!
I have the mon+key+mouse for 4 computers using a KVM switch. The complicate matters my KIDS (all budding hackers) use one of the computers and have figured out how to use the KVM switch!
Of course I know a few work arounds to protect the VIDEO PC but I was just poking fun at the ATI folks. I was rather hoping that there was a wXP solution to stop it from preventing timed tasks from running under the screen saver. I know ATI does NOT use the windows taks manager but rather has a manager of its own.
