Well Maybe the SVCD File is Corrupted or Dammaged in some way....Are you Playing it from a CD Disk or from a File on your Hard drive?? If it is From Disk then I would sugest ripping the disk to your Hard drive and then trying to play it...But if the File is Corrupted then there isn"t much you can do to fix it....

You can not Play Bin files from your Hard drive, Bin files are an Image format, if you want to Play the SVCD from your Hard drive you will have to extract the SVCD Mpeg2 file from the Bin file, or you can use something like "FireBurner" to Burn the Bin file to CD-R and you will have a SVCD...But if you First want to make sure the Movie is Fine then use something like "Iso Buster" to extract the Files from the Bin file ,and the Mpeg2 file should be inside the "Mpeg2 or MpegAV" folders.....Cheers

You should Not use Media Player to Play SVCD and Mpeg2 files, You should use Software made for playing those Types of files Like "PowerDVD" or "WinDVD"....
