i have a svcd file...when i downloaded it it had no proper extension...so i have no idea what file type it is....it should be an mpeg correct?...anyway i havent been able to get anything to play it....anyone have any suggestions....or know of a program i can use to analyze the file with to determine what format it is.
i've tried changing it to an mpeg and avi....neither has worked.
Well some SVCD"s downloaded these days are in Bin format, so what you might try is to name the File with a .bin extention then see if a tool Like IsoBuster or WinIso will extract all of the folders
from the Bin file....Bin files are an image format that in this case would have all of the Directories of a SVCD on it, the Actual Mpeg movie file would be in the MpegAV or Mpeg2 folder, that is if this were a Bin file...But if it is a Video file(Bin files are not video files so they can not be played like a Mpeg file or an AVI file) then you should use something like "GSpot" to figure out what type of file it is..Go a Google search and you will find a Place to download GSpot...cheers
