A-Devil again ??! AIW 9600

Hi,

AIW 9600 Pro.
Got it, installed, tested.
All seems to be OK but.. It has FM-radio and Theatre Audio WDM. And mysteriously it installed it TWICE.
So now FM-radio has annoying echo-effect.
Uninstalling otherone Thetre audio WDM helps for that session but after boot 'smartass' Win2000 reinstalls it back again.
Now there is tons of ATI stuff in registry and symtemfolders. How could I delete right part to get rid of that Ghost, Theatre audio WDM ???

Hi,

Uninstalled other Theatre Audio WDM. Updated remaining anr THEN deleted Ati's .INF file. In my case it was OEM3.inf
Now FM-radio works fine.

P.S. Thanks for NO-response

Sorry, but speaking for myself, I don't have an ATI 9600 card, so I don't know that I could be much help. In fact, I have never upgraded my old ATI AIW Radeon.

http://www.pcphotovideo.com has a guide on doing upgrades of ATI software drivers. The guide tells how to remove various ATI programs from the registry, which might have been helpful to you if you still didn't know what to do.
