I have an .avi movie file which is causing my head to ache. If i highlight the filename my Explorer crahes, If i open the file in Windows media player/DivX player/BS Player they crash.

I have tried rebooting and error searching without luck and I have run the file trough GGspot and it said it was a valid .avi file.

Anybody got an idea if there is any chance for this file or is it just plain crap??

If a file crashed my system more than once I would delete it, forget about it and not wonder about it. A movie file is not life and death, it's not worth the aggravation and possible real damage to your hardware.
