Install newer MMC on old AIW 128 Pro?

I have read that it is possible to install MMC 8.7 on the older AIW 128 Pro cards (Theater Chip) with a few registry changes.
Can anyone direct me how to do this?
I have a second computer with this card in it and I would like to use it as a second capture machine if I can get MMC 8.7 to work with it.
