Is there anyway I can convert at SVCD to normal mpg or mpeg?

I download clip, but it's in (SVCD)and the extention ends mpeg. How do I view such a format?

Open the file with any decent media player. Even Windows Media Player will do. The file is indeed a normal MPG file (with slightly different resolution). The extensions MPG and MPEG are identical.

Actually Windows Media Player may well not play it, until you install an MPEG2 decoder.

You find several free MPEG2 codecs online. Install it, and then WMP should play it okay.
