Hauppage PVR-350 question

If anyone uses the Hauppage PVR-350, I have a question. I am thinking about buying it. I know that it has some preset values for recording MPEG video. Is it possible to use it to record at any bit rate? Let's say I want to record some MPEG-2 video at a bit rate of 6150 Kbps. Would it be possible to set it up to record at exactly this value or can you only use the preset values? I'm thinking about buying it and would like to know before I spend the money.

You can use any bitrate you want, both for video and audio.
