Is there a program that will output .rm and/or .mp4 files to a IEEE 1394 port? I'm trying to store some videos that I have in real meduia and .mp4 format out to analog tape thru an ADS Pyro A/V Link.

Unless you convert the video files to DV type, you will not be able to save them on a MiniDV tape. There were attempts, here and there, to use the MiniDV camcorder as a backup device, i.e: store ANY type of file on it, (by faking them as video files), but as far as I know, they were all abandoned. The camcoreder cannot be trusted as a backup device. It's too sensitive, and one faulty byte can ruin the entire backup.
