Photo CD with music (done with WMM) is shaky

Hi,

I am new here so not sure if this has been discussed before.

I am putting together all my wedding photos, the idea so far (due to budget constraints) was using Windows Movie Maker(WMM), put in a few slide transitions, some comments and music.

I tried saving it under all various formats that WMM allows and then burn it to CD or VCD.

I played it in the PC and it was fine, I tried various DVDs and the pictures are all very shaky and seems to get worse as the movie goes along.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this suppose to have been the guests present and it has been 4 months and still can't get it right...

You can try Ulead DVD Picture Show which is a great software to do what you want to do. Another option is to do it in VCDEasy but it is a bit more complicated but it has more options.

But if you use Ulead DVD Picture Show and want it to CD, then make sure you deselect the transition effects because then you can put full resolution stills (704x576 PAL or 704x480 NTSC) on CD. If you enable transitions it will only use VCD resolution or SVCD resolution depending on selected disc type. The transitions are encoded as video sequences instead of still pictures (menu pictures) and thats why the quality is worse.
