I have been using Tmpgenc xpress 3.0 for a while but recently i received an error message saying:

"This application has requested the runtime to close it in an unusual way. Contact the support team for more assistance."

I tried to fix it by the compatibility option in the properties in XP changing it to windows 2000 & now I receive 2 error messages.

The 1st error message is of Vfapiframeserver.exe saying:

"A buffer overrun has been detected that has corrupted the programs internal state. The progarm can't safely continue execution & must now terminate."

The 2nd error message is of Tmpgenc3XP.exe & is the same one that i had received before running the compatibility wizard.

I tried reinstalling & rebooting but still i get the same error/errors. Please tell me what should i do to remove this/these errors!

solution >> rename avi file. Error is the too long name.
