Will this holy grail ever go away?!
Well James, as you know I've been searching for it for almost twenty years now and still haven't seen it.
A few fans including yourself, Dave R, Carl J and Steve K have told me it was definitely NOT included in the otherwise complete Mandarin print that was screened at the KFM event in December 1979. However, others have said it WAS shown, including Bruce Lee historian/writer Will Johnston. When the Boss cuts article was first published in Impact a few years back, I went along with Dave, Carl and Steve's version of events, but Impact checked with Will and the text was altered accordingly. How can so much confusion surround such a famous scene? Very strange...
If anybody else who saw the film at the Gaumont Theatre in 1979 is reading this, please add your comments here. Was the 'saw' scene shown or not?
