went to the oasis gig last night here in manchester. richard ashcroft was supporting and his bass player either was or looked very very similar to our very own seeds bass player!! anyone else notice this? and if it was, what does this say about the seeds???

I wouldnt be surprised. I dont think Ian will release as The Lightning Seeds anymore. I cant see it. 13 years, I think he's moved on from it.

So maybe it is Martyn with Ashcroft! Who knows...

Its definitely him. I read in Q a couple of months ago he was recording on Ashcroft's new album. oh well, seeds loss is his gain. i was hopin seeds would get paul hemmings back with martyn and angie and record at least one more album,

Yeah your right, just looked at ashcrofts official site and theres photos and its clearly good old mr campbell.

He is also workign on his own stuff on the viper label one song of which "splinters" ive got and is very good.

Glad to see the ex-Seeds are still doing cool work. PS Mat, where you been? Not seen you on MSN for AAAAAAges!

I am about, its just Ive moved into my new uni house and (as of yet) we have no phone line and no way of getting online But in a few weeks we're having beautiful bradband put in :D :D :D so I'll be on a lot. It will also make it easioer for me to upload stuff as recently every web host i try seems to screwe me over after a fewe months of payiong them!!
