Yeah...

Nothing will be like how the Castle was in it's hay day. I look at WoW (I play too) and look at the RPG servers and just shake my head most of the time. It's not worth it unless you can find someone over 25 to play with anyway and that goes for the normal servers too.

I miss the intrigue, the family weeds (those "hang on, we're RELATED?!" moments were a never-ending crack-up), the guild factions and different house alliances... and the badly written intro posts that went for half a screen. I miss the friends I made though most of those friendships turned out to be absolutely toxic in the end.

I like where the Castle led me to, though. I wouldn't have traveled if not for this place, wouldn't have met certain people who led me to other certain people, wouldn't have had the same real life experiences that were prompted because of this place.

From 1997 to 2001, it was fantastic.
