Groups, Activities, Contacts for College-Age Filipinos in Chicago Area

My 19 year-old daughter has just moved to the Chicago area from The Philippines to live with my American husband and I. Of course, she has not a single friend, contact, or resource here, and is very lonely. Can anyone suggest any groups, activities, resources covering Chicago whereby she might be able to meet some college-age friends and get involved in organized activities or groups for young Filipinos? Also, does anyone have children or other family members late teens/early twenties that might be interested in becoming acquainted with my daughter by e-mail, etc.?
