Get the Chicken.......

I have just finished reading about what some pilots in WW1 used to get up to.
When flying long and boring Patrols, not only did they used to keep an eye out for enemy air and ground activity, but also for anything that would be good served up for tea in the mess that night (especialy at xmas time).
Many a Pilot would try to spot a farm that still had chickens, turkeys or some type of foul running around. If they were able to, they would land in a nearby field. Hoping that the farmer was out or didnt hear them land, they would then try to catch one of the formentioned animals and take it back to base with them. They must of been desparte for a good feed LOL.

I think you might be on to what I'm thinking about, imagine being able to do that in 17hours, a type of capture the flag game LOL. If you get stuck for ideas or want to have a little bit of fun, you could always do something with this ;)

Cheers Gump

P.S. Please dont take this to seriously, just a silly idea I had ;)
