Well I suppose that would depend on what you're buying the game for. Not intended to be a trick answer:)

Someone who only wants online will want the most security possible. And conversely someone intending to use it offline only will want to be able to play with everything to keep it fresh. And then you're have everyone(the majority?) in between these two extremes.

Is there any realistic way to have both? How does FS:SDOE handle security with its open architecture?
Is there anyway to add a secure code to a modified aircraft to make it unusable on secure servers and completely unusable if the code tampered with?

Anyway this is about as coherent as I'm going to get at 3am.
