Response to Not fully thought through yet, but here's some ideas.

I just dont want to know what's coming around the corner. I played the original RB every day for a year, and that was on my 7MHz Amiga. It was like a slide show. I couldnt do that if the missions were the same. I mean, I just loved the way you picked your country, then it randomly assigned you to a squadron. Each day, it randomly assigned you to a mission. It was great. If you did well, you got promotions and transfers etc. It was fun and exciting. You never knew what the game would throw at you. It's much better than games that have so many set scenarios that you must complete one after the other. If you die and restart, youu fly the same mission over again. After awhile you get really good at the first mission, but it sucks becasue it gets dull. X-Wing was like that.
