GF3 = $$$$$$

Don't know about you, but there's ABSOLUTELY NO WAY I am going to drop $600 or $700 on a FREEKIN VIDEO CARD (That's nvidia's suggested retail price. Aren't monopolies fun??)

IMHO the GF3 is NOT a viable platform unless they get the price down to the sub-$300 mark. People just won't buy it -- and if they don't buy it, they won't buy games written for it.

A large part of the hardware community is actively boycotting / protesting nvidia's pricing scheme here. As an example, Overclockers.com is refusing to even REVIEW the gf3 due to the pricing scheme.

Just a heads-up... (and a bit of a rant)
