Most of those things sound good, I do differ on chat and views, chat is a big part of RB3D online, I want text communications to be available, maybe a method for the server to decide just whats available, but I want places that we can chat while we fight too. Interactions is a big part of being a community.
Another thing I want is external views. I've never found any other sim that gives me the situational awareness that RB3D's view system gives me. If I had something besides an almost flat monitor to get my situational awareness from, maybe I wouldn't want external views. Please include them, those that don't want them don't have to use them. The community is a pretty honest one, if a group wants to play without them they can make a gentlemens agreement.
I think when you go leaving things out that others use to play the game you've just narrowed the community that much more. Salute friends!
