sydney shoots him through the heart with a crossbow in the first scene of the game, and he shrugs it off, then jumps out the window, X stories above ground. he reads minds, he flies, he vanishes into thin air. you yank his arm off and it moves of its own accord. he summons and controls all kinds of beasties like dragons, harpies, and minotaurs. those under his influence (or even nearby as in the case of the inquisitor lady) acquire extrasensory abilities of their own, as if it were a contagious disease. as the controller of a religious sect that just about worshipped him, congregating underground in the bowels of the city of the undead, I think he's been living a fairly un-human lifestyle.
though I concede that he may have been living in mere denial of his humanity. perhaps its up to ashley to shake some sense into him?
