...my stupid little piece of Harry Potter universe fan-art? I've only got one so far, but it's finally SCANNED! Whoo!
It's dumb because it's supposed to be Hermione and indeed her name can be fairly-clearly seen in the upper left corner, but I got so many things WRONG! :P She's wearing a normal school uniform with trim of a different colour; my idea was that the trim shows which house you're in, but I forgot which colour goes to what and I put her in _green_--SLYTHERIN! :P
(Well, it was a natural mistake if you didn't pay ULTRA attention to the books and only read them once. Here's my thought processes: Red stands for blood, violence, war, and is usually used for bad guys to symbolise them. Such as Darth Vader's light-saber being red. Green is the colour of grass, life, a cool, "nice" colour, so it represents good guys. Therefore, I honestly thought that Gryffindor's colour was GREEN! :P)
The other problem is that, of course, Hermione _doesn't_ wear glasses.
I suppose I could say that this is MY character, but, um, she's a Ravenclaw....and also she could NEVER read a book and ride a broomstick at the same time. She can barely ride a broomstick and ride a broomstick at the same time! :P
(Otherwise, it DOES look pretty much like how I imagined my character in terms of physical appearance, though.)
Well, hey, I messed up big-time on the details, but I'm not as fanatical of a fan as you guys so go easy on me! :P This was only supposed to be a kind of general-idea HP picture, not really specific. You should also know that I drew this on the exact day that the movie was released in the theaters, to honour it. I couldn't GO to the movie, but I showed up wearing all black and fancy mystical-looking jewelry to be a little bit "witchy" without actually being in costume, and drew that picture while at work and then proudly displayed it on my desk, so I did my part to promote it. When I did see the movie it was a good bit later, in December.

I think that even if I didn't get the specifics right, at least I more or less captured the style or FEEL of the Harry Potter artwork and universe....yes?
(In case you can't read the book cover, it says "Hogwarts: A History" of COURSE. :P)
