Hogwarts' Cross-Universe Exchange Students?!

by Molly Featherstone

Okay, so, I'm posting this stupid poll/idea because I'm bored out of my skull, because almost nothing has gone on around here for a good long time (whacks people with her broomstick WAKE UP!! :P) and because I'm weird. That, of course, being the most important reason...

This was inspired by the fact that I have recently gotten back into the old Dungeons and Dragons cartoon, and this time around, the instant I saw Presto the Magician, I was like, "EEEE!! HE BELONGS IN THE HARRY POTTER UNIVERSE!!!"
My second thought was: "But, er....Slytherin is SO not the right House for him." (He wears green...which totally means nothing where he is.)
Something about him just SCREAMS Hogwarts student, despite the fact that his robes are wrong. He's cute, young, nerdy, wears very traditional wizard-style clothes complete with big tall pointy hat, has glasses, and his magic is actually VERY powerful but almost totally beyond his control. He needs some formal training, and he needs it SOON. I and a lot of other fans from the show like to assume that, unlike the other kids, who just use magical items--that in Presto's case, the magic is at least partially _inside him_, and when they get back home it won't fade away. Cue the owl flying in through his window with a letter written in green ink...
(And in case you're thinking "Presto" is just TOO cutesy of a name for a wizard; the answer is it's not his REAL name, just a nickname...but his real name is never said. I've heard it's actually "Andrew"...)

I'll include a few pictures for those of you who don't know what this character looks like. Don't worry, they're little...(so is he! Hee, just had to say that...)

Anyway! That got me to thinking. What characters from other universes--be they cartoons, books, or whatever--can you see as Hogwart's students? You can use people who are already wizards or have some kind of powers; or, you can use those who seem like they have the right kind of personalities or brains to become wizards if they had the chance. And, for established, fully-developed, adult actual wizards from other fantasy things--which class could you see them TEACHING at Hogwarts?
For example, Raistlin from Dragonlance: I don't know what class he'd be teaching exactly, but whatever it was, I would sure as hell pay very close attention. :P

So...who would you bring over? Assuming that:
1. All universes COULD be connected by magical gates or whatever.
2. Hogwarts has no restrictions on what species their students or teachers are, just so long as they are good students or good teachers.
3. And it can be anywhere in time you like. I mean, if you don't want to kick out Snape as the Potions-Master, then, fine, just say it's ahead in the future or way back in the past, that your cross-universe teacher is there.

Any ideas?

Some pictures of Presto (those of you who don't care, don't scroll: that's WHY I put this down here, so it wouldn't bug everybody in the middle of the message):

Cramming for his Transfigurations final no, just kidding, this is from an actual episode but I don't think I've seen it:

Casting a spell, and looking serious and dangerous:

Casting one of his more USUAL spells (ie., a goof-up):

With his glasses off (and PANICKING because of it!)

And call me weird, but I think he is just so CUTE! He also looks like what might happen if Harry and Ginny Weasely DID get married... :P (Well, think about it: Black-haired, nearsighted wizard + redheaded witch might very well = auburn-haired, nearsighted wizard. Why not? ;))
