By the way, I found this HILARIOUS "article" at this silly site called "The Sporadic Prophet"--it's kind of like the Daily Prophet meets The Onion :P (motto: "News When We Feel Like It") and it's really funny...has everybody else already seen it and I'm the last to know, or would you like the link?
The whole SITE is funny, but my favourite article, the one that made me fall over laughing, was the one about the "inner eyeglasses"...it's also just SO Discworld...
Other highlights are Mad-Eye Moody insisting that he be called _Mildly-Eccentric_-Eye Moody and Lockheart designing a new spring fashion line of Hawaiian robes.... :P Not to mention the letter to the Hogfather--er, sorry, sorry, _Santa Claus_--that Voldemort wrote when he was a little kid...
I also cannot get over the (real life, this time) story of the teacher in Wales who invented a ground-bound version of Quidditch (she got permission to publicise it from JK Rowling)....and the fact that _schools are starting to actually add it to their sports curriculum_, or at least consider it anyway....ACK! And you thought Star Trek was a powerful international phenomenon...
