Byrne would be great for Sirius Black. But Hugh Laurie is not handsome enough and far too nice-looking to be Lockhart. We need a vain jerk of an actor for him.
Sean Connery is who I hoped for Dumbledore from the very beginning. His personality is a bit "heavy" for Aldus, but I think he could pull it off.
