A Theory

by Zora

I've stated this theory to a few people before, namely Therese and Kat. Kat told me to go ahead and throw it out on the forum just to "see what bites."

It's about Snape's deep seated hatred for James and Harry Potter. My theory is this: I have a feeling we might be looking at a rather twisted love triange. What if back when the James Potter gang were roaming the school... what if BOTH James AND Snape fell in love with Lily? When she chose Snape's archrival, James over Snape, he cracked. There's got to be more to this than we've heard... and, like so many people have said.. the next 3 books's major plot twists are going to revolve around Lily... just as they involved James in Three.

Any opinions? Have I forgotten any facts that would completly throw this theory out the window? It's probably way off... but it's just something that came to me while reading book three all those months ago.

While I'm posting... I can't remember if Fred and George are 1 or 2 years ahead of Harry and Co. and I'm too lazy to hunt it down. Which is it?

And, I found an OLD sketch I did of Mcgonagal that I'd completly forgotten about. I'm going to redraw, color and post her for everyone to see.
