**Sniffy voice.** Well, if THAT's who my rival is, then I shan't be too worried.

Ugh, for gods' sakes, TELL me she doesn't call him a "homeboy"! **Violent gagging noises.** (It's the slang. I hate slang. I mean, I REALLY HATE slang. If I had my way, everyone would speak coherently and using proper grammar, on pain of pain.)
Random thought: Why do most women on paper have heads with a larger circumference than their waists? That just isn't possible, even with the removal of several ribs and internal organs. We are no longer in Victorian times, thou silly sods, so why are they drawn like that?
Come to think of it, why is it acceptable for male actors (or should I say "stars") to look natural and still be handsome (for example, Russell Crowe is hardly a visual heartthrob), and yet the females aren't considered beautiful if they don't conform to one very narrow set of criteria. I mean, come on, even in Hollywood there's a vast diversity in looks among men, but the women all look pretty much like one another, only perhaps with different hair.
