If you can't think of anything nice to say, come sit by me!

Think of this place as a big old dive bar. We try to keep a good mood here, but we realize that people come in here to blow off steam, and sometimes feel the need to make cranky or curmudgeonly remarks. We've got no problem with that, in moderation.

If you want to gripe about your family, life or job, do it! If you have a great joke about bodily functions or secretions, tell it! If you feel the urge to jump up on your stool and recite one of your godawful poems, you're welcome to do that too. If you've got a political opinion you want to shoot your mouth off about, shoot away. If you need to "share your feelings" ... oh, Hell, go ahead, if you absolutely have to.

Debate -- even if it's spirited, emotionally charged debate -- is a welcome part of the mix, but if you feel the need to engage in personal attacks on other people who are posting here, it's probably best to take it outside where the rest of us don't have to deal with it.

So, drink up, and talk away.
