My one overview thought is that this IS Moe's swing except for the grip and resultant release motion. When you see the pictures of the seven cardinal positions they all match Moe. The tour pro examples Bertholy uses are Player and Hogan. Also the training has the kind of single minded intensity that I'm sure was a fit for Moe.
If you've developed the strength implied by Bertholy's excercises (SETS of 500 deltoid lifts with a 10 lb weight!) it's then very easy to say you extended
NO conscious effort on a particular part of the swing. And BTW he expects that doing his excercises WILL cause pain.
I now have to figure out how to make a 'Swing Pipe' (one of his key training devices).
