Moe in answer to Peter Kessler's question "When you watch bad players what do you see?":
The hit impulse. The 3 worse things in this game. Right hand cast, right arm thrust and right shoulder roll.
Bertholy:
At the top-of-the-backswing-direction-change, is the number one enemy of the golfswing, the omnipresent, all-powerful, inherent, reflex action,
HIT IMPULSE
rears its ugly destructive head. The hit impulse manifests itself in the right hand cast, right arm thrust at this chancy moment and nearly always destroys P.T., preper tempo, in the process. Once the Hit Impulse has dominated the direction-switch at the top of the backswing - start of the downswing, there is no recovery from this swing-destroying fault. You have had it brother. You are going to fault in at least one or more, probably many, many, of combinations of ways.
