Becasue I think if he did, he would not have made the "perfect swing" statement about him.
What amazes is me is all the people who read stuff into what Jones taught that simply isn't there.
Because it is well known now (through video evidence) that almost every good swing is started with body movement, not the hands and arms, they assume that Jones was somehow teaching that also, when he absolutely wasn't!
Jones taught pure STC which is cleary hands lead the swing, body follows, literally!
THat isn't hard to figure consdiering that Jones had shot a 62 playing on one leg. Kind of hard to have all that lower body movement leading the swing, when you are only on one leg.
