Peter, are you trying to blend and reconcile somehow two very different concepts for the golf swing ?
There is/was lead side swinging-to-point and pinning and trail side inertial pushing. Now there is lead side tugging with a deltoid muscles supercharger and a trail side demon to be kept in jail.
I appreciate you are working towards getting the hang of paradoxes such as
"Give Up Control to Get Control". But you don't have to overcook it and go beyond it to the other side of the looking glass
More seriously - I fooled a bit in the basement with the centripetal retaining action of the trail hand. That looks very interesting. I don't feel it to slow down the speed of the arms from the top. However, did you not have a similar idea quite some time back ?
In GOLF Jan 79, 'FITNESS - Put Spring in Your Muscles' by Paul Bertholy, there is perhaps the equivalent of the ‘pipe'- an old broom with the handle cut off to about 39 inches. It is suggested to be used to exercise the top of the back swing position but also to do the deltoid lifts.
" - increase the weight used by gripping closer to the sawed off end of the handle. Eventually you can use a 10-pound barbell for this exercise as I do."

PS.: did you verify with VG about the appropriate use of the expression ‘centrifugal force' ?
